Clubs List

Arbor Ridge
Clubs and Organizations

Please have your child contact the club/sport sponsor, or coach if he/she is interested in participating. This list will undergo some changes throughout the school year so please make sure your child is in contact with the school or sponsoring faculty member for the most up to date information. Transportation to or from clubs is the parent’s responsibility. Students may be dismissed from an activity if they are not dropped off or picked up on time.

Students must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA (C average) or above, to be eligible to participate in athletic programs. In order for athletes to participate in daily practices and/or games, they must be present for at least four consecutive periods that day. Students must also complete a satisfactory medical examination during each academic school year in which they plan to participate.

All activities will stress academic success, character development, discipline, and good sportsmanship. Our students represent our school and community and are expected to be student leaders with positive behavior. Students who use alcohol, tobacco or other drugs, have behavior or attendance problems, or violate other rules as set by their sponsor or coach, may lose their opportunity to participate. In addition, Middle School students who receive two or more unsatisfactory conduct grades (2’s and/or 3’s) or, two or more D’s or F’s on his/her report card, or two or more discipline referrals, for any nine-week grading period will not be allowed to participate in any after school extra-curricular activities, dances, night programs, non-educational field trips or meetings until report cards are issued for the following nine week grading period. In addition, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in the prior quarter to participate in any extra-curricular activities. In conclusion, conduct and GPA and grades will be looked at each grading period to determine eligibility.
